California Standard is a pop rock band with a cinematic flavor based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Inspired by acts like Kings of Leon, the Menzingers, and early Coldplay; they blend alt-radio vibes and pop hooks to tell slice-of-life stories.​

 

The band released their second EP, Time Spent With You on all major streaming platforms in late 2025. The EP was a look at how relationships change over time, set to an ever-changing backdrop inspired by alt-rock, Americana, and (a little bit) of singer-songwriter music.
